MaxxForce DT/9/10 – 5010934R91 – Low Pressure Turbocharger
New Unit | Manufactured by Turbo Kings
Precision Manufacturing
This new Turbo Kings low-pressure turbocharger for the MaxxForce DT/9/10 platform (atmospheric stage) is built to deliver stable airflow, rapid spool characteristics, and improved reliability in high-duty commercial applications. Every unit is produced from new castings using controlled machining tolerances to ensure consistent compressor efficiency and smooth aerodynamic flow across the full RPM band. The large-frame LP design plays a critical role in the compound system by supplying volume to the high-pressure turbo without restriction, making durability and balance essential to overall engine responsiveness.
Each turbocharger receives a precision-ground shaft, high-density bearing set, and a dynamically balanced rotating group calibrated to strict Turbo Kings specifications. The result is a new, production-grade turbo designed to support daily fleet-duty workloads with clean, predictable performance and long service life.
Seal Integrity & Flow Efficiency
The turbine housing, compressor cover, and center section are engineered for maximum thermal stability. All sealing surfaces are CNC-profiled, and the bearing housing is assembled with premium sealing rings to maintain oil control under heavy load and sustained heat cycles. The compressor and turbine wheels are manufactured to OE-grade contour specifications, providing optimal inertia response and reduced lag while maintaining exact flow geometry for compound pairing.
A reinforced atmospheric volute ensures consistent exhaust expansion and eliminates the hot-spot cracking issues found in many cores. Every unit undergoes leak-testing and assembly inspection to ensure proper sealing of oil passages, coolant ports (if equipped), and V-band joints before release.
What Makes Turbo Kings Different
Turbo Kings new-build units are not generic aftermarket replacements — each one follows the same internal quality framework used in our reman program, including:
Individually balanced CHRAs
Bolt-on fitment to factory manifolds and piping
New hardware, studs, and V-bands included when applicable
Strict flow-based QC rather than basic visual checks
Production-grade assembly torque specs
Consistency across batches for fleet replacement stability
For customers running paired HP/LP MaxxForce systems, matching turbo stability is essential. This new LP turbocharger is engineered to integrate seamlessly into the compound arrangement without over-spooling or choking the high-pressure stage.
